"Mrs. Theo A. Smith, 67, of Berlin Center, died of a heart ailment Tuesday morning in the Glen View Nursing Home in Mineral Ridge, where she had been a patient since September. Mrs. Smith was born May 1, 1900, in Milton township, a daughter of A. E. and Josie Renkenberger Cattell, and had been a resident of the area all her life. She was a member of the Berlin Center Methodist church, the Dorcas class of the church, and the Want-to-Come-Back club. Besides her husband, Cyrus A., to whom she was married in 1916, she leaves two sons, Harold of North Jackson, and Earl of Berlin Center; a daughter, Mrs. Howard Rieck of Boardman; a half-sister, Mrs. C. I. Prosser of California; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the church, with the Rev. Leroy Hart in charge, and interment made in the Berlin Center cemetery."
