She was active in the Girl Scouts, had been a member of the Board of Directors of the Springfield Art Association, active in the Junior League and in the Westminster Presbyterian Church choir.
She was survived by husband Charles G. Briggle, jr; sons Charles G. Briggle III and Robert Deal Briggle; daughter Mary Judith Briggle, all at home; mother Mrs. Don Deal, Springfield, and sister Mrs. Edward McDavid of Hillsboro.
Services at Westminster Presbyterian Church with burial in Oak Ridge cemetery.
