Faye was born 19 Sep 1911 at Wisdom, Montana the daughter of George J. Izatt and Charlotte Stevens Izatt. When she was young the family moved to Weston, Idaho, and then to Logan Utah. In 1939 she received a bachelor of science degree from Utah State University, Logan, Utah.
She married James Eugene Johnson 22 Aug 1940 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. they served an LDS mission at the Oakland, California LDS Temple in 1882.
She worked for the LDS Hospital before starting a 21 year long teaching career in the Idaho Falls, Idaho area. She taught at Bonneville High School, O.E. Bell Junior High School, Idaho Falls High School and Skyline High School.
She died 28 Aug 1987 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of heart failure, and is buried in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery, Ririe, Bonneville, Idaho.
