ASHEBORO -- Paul Franklin Wiles, age 83, departed this life on March 1 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Funeral rites will be held March 3 (2pm) at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro; Rev. Charles Phelps and Rev. Gurney Harrelson officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Preceded in death by his wife, Bertie Black Wiles. Surviving: wife, Edna Loflin Wiles of the home; daughter, Paula Noble and her husband, Kerry of Apex, N.C.; granddaughter, Ashley Donahue and her husband Craig, of Clemmons, N.C.; grandson, Kristopher Noble of Apex, N.C.; stepdaughter, Pat Chandler and her husband, Earl, of Missouri City, Texas, and stepson, Jim Loflin and his wife, Annette, of Aiken, S.C.
