HOLDER, Edward Jurdon age 81 of Maryville, passed away Saturday April 26th, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital.
He was a member of Carpenters United Methodist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by: parents, James and Netta Holder. Brother, James Thomas Holder. Sister, Irene McSpadden.
Survivors include: wife, Wilma Best Holder. Daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Mike Best of Maryville. Son, James Holder of Maryville. Sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Sharon Holder of Maryville, Darrell and Robin Holder of Greenback. 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie and Harold Leatherwood of Maryville. Dolores and Bob Chambers of California. Brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Christine Holder, Fred and Margaret Holder all of Maryville. Several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will meet 10:00 AM Tuesday at Carpenters United Methodist Church Cemetery for a graveside service and interment with Rev. Ken Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 7:30 PM Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral.
