Services for Jesse Lucas, 86, of Waynesburg, are 2 p.m. today at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Timothy Cochran.
Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery, Waynesburg.
He died Thursday at Charleston Health Care Center.
Born July 8, 1914, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Walter and Loretta Estes Lucas.
He was a farmer and a member of Mount Salem Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Glenn Lucas Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Vernetta Lucas of Stanford;
a daughter, Ann Bernice Lucas of Lexington;
a brother, Ralph Lucas of Mt. Salem;
a grandchild and a great-granddaughter.
Memorials may go to Mount Salem Baptist Church.
Pallbearers are Glen Campbell , Jimmy and Robert Rector, Billy and Barney Lucas and Johnny Vanoy.
