Ben Tippett's Service Friday

ENTERPRISE - Benjamin K. Tippett. 53, who with his wife, owned the Joseph Hotel, died Monday at his home in Joseph.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Enterprise Community Church. The Rev. James L. Jones will officiate with Mrs. Gale Swart as organist and George Thompson as soloist.
Tippett was the son of William and Fannie [Monroe] Tippett and was born at Joseph on Sept. 28, 1914. On June 9. 1945 he was married at La Grande to Erma Morrison who survives. He was a 25-year member of the Lewiston Elk's Lodge.
Other survivors include: daughters [step-] Mrs. Delwyn (Sharron) Zollman and Mrs. David (Vikki) Bonfield, and a son, Dan Tippett of Joseph: his mother, Mrs. Fannie Tippett of Asotin: a brother, Vester Tippett of McCall, Idaho: a sister, Mrs. Vaulna Daughtry of Clarkson; and four grandchildren.
