Child Dies of Injuries-

Daniel Langdon, 7 year old son of Mr.& Mrs. Herbert Langdon of Wethersfield died late Tuesday afternoon in
Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw, of injuries substained when he was hit by an automiobile.
Victor Blom of Attica, District School Superintendant, who was the driver of the automobile, told Deputy Sheriff Thomas V. Kenndey, that the boy ran out from school into the road directly in front of the automobile. Mr. Blom was hot held. The accident happened during the noon recess at District School No.5 at Smith's Corners, 9 miles south of Warsaw. The boy suffered a skull fracture & other injuries.
Besides his parents, Daniel is survived by 2 brothers. He had just enrolled in school for the second year on his 7th birthday.

Injuries Are Fatal To Boy of 7- Smith Corners Lad Was Struck by Automobile While Returning From School

Daniel Langdon, age 7, of Smith's Corners, town of Wethersfield, died Tuesday afternoon at 5:15 o'clock as the result of an accident at 12:05 noon, when he was struck by a car driven by Mr. Victor H. Blom, District Superintendant of Schools, Attica, on the Gainesville-Java highway on his way home to lunch. Mr. Blom was driving west on route 78 going to Arcade, when Daniel ran from the school yard into the path of the car. He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Herbert Langdon, who lived across from the school.
Mrs. Langdon watching for the child, witnessed the accident. Investigation was made by Deputy Sheriff Thomas Kennedy, also Trooper Perry. Dr. L.H. Humphrey, coroner, held on inquest on Wednesday and the veredict was accidental death.
