Funeral services for William Anderson Mabe, 89, of Woodlawn Route 1 were held April 23 at 11 a.m. at Coulson Church of the Brethren with burial in the Mabe Cemetery.
Surviving are two daughters, Cleona Lineberry and Nancy Burnette, both of Woodlawn; five sons, Alva Mabe, Stanleyville; Arland Mabe and Grant Mabe, both of Galax; Ray Mabe of Cana and Wallace Mabe of Woodlawn; three sisters, Nannie Frazier, Austinville; Susie Smith, Austinville; and Ada Akers, Woodlawn; one brother, Roosevelt Mabe of Austinville.
