Mrs. Ferdinand Adam died at her home in Reynolds Monday Morning at 12:30. Mrs. Adam has been in poor health for some time and the past six months her health has been critical most of the time. Mrs. Adam was born in Germany, September 15, 1859, thus being 63 years and 27 days of age at the time of her death. In 1876 she was married to Ferdinand Adam and about forty years ago Mr. and Mrs. Adam came to this country and settled on a homestead in Michigan Township, they resided there until three years ago when they moved to town where they lived until the time of her death. Mrs. Adam was a kind and generous woman and was known to be such by all her acquatintances and neighbors. In her home life she distinquished herself by that true love that is every ready to bring sacrifices; sincere and honest, simple and modest, she was very industrious and untiring in the care of her family. She reaped even here in this world a beautiful reward and blessing, for her children were very found of her, grateful and loyal. Three of her children preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband and following children. Mrs. Joseph E. Gefell, Mrs. Edward Gefell and Mrs. Charles Gefell who reisde in Rochester, N.Y., Mrs. Louis Ackerman, Mrs. George Ackerman, Rudolph, Geo. Ferdinand Jr., Philip, Alphonse and Alice. Mr. Adam and his esteemed family have the sympathy of all in their hour of sorrow. The funeral was held at the Catholic Church Wednesday at 10:30, Fr. Meyer officiating.
