L. V. Fox, 79, pioneer roofer, dies
Llewellyn V. Fox, 79, retired founder of the Mason City Roofing Co., died Thursday evening in a Mason City nursing home. He had lived in Mason City for 60 years and made his home at 1432 E. State.
Llewellyn was a pioneer in the roofing business in Mason City and was the founder of the Mason City Roofing Company with the late C. N. Wright of Clear Lake in 1933. Upon the death of Mr. Wright, Mr. Fox became the owner of the business, which is now being operated by his sons.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Bernice Mae) Cinkle, Inglewood, Calif., Mrs. Glen (Betty) Pascoe, Mason City; four sons, The Rev. Father Adrian Fox, Order of Saint Benedict, Naytahwaush, Minn.; Kenneth dale Fox, Mason City; Donald Edwin Fox, Kenosha, Wis.; and Dick Fox, Mason City; 15 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. He was precede in death by his parents and two brothers and a sister.
Mr. Fox was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the North Iowa Builders Exchange. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Hogan-McKee Colonial Funeral Home is in charge.
