Bonnie Adington, 87, a resident of Sunrise Manor in Somerset, Ky., passed away late Thursday evening (Sept. 21, 2006)at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

She was born Feb 8, 1919 at Inman, the daughter of the late William Maynard Gibson and Elizabeth Carter Gibson.

She was raised in Big Stone Gap and moved to assisted living at Somerset to be close to daughter. She was a seamstress and in the retail and grocery business for many years.

Bonnie was preceded in death by three husbands, Richard Glenn Slemp, Fred Milhorn (MILHORN, FRED E 18 Nov 1917 - 17 Oct 1999) and Robert Adington, granddaughter, Michele D. Flanary, her parents: three brothers: Roy, Charles, and Maynard Gibson.

Survivors include one son, Randall Cecil Milhorn and his wife Diane Funk-Milhorn, Dallas, Tx, One Daughter, Glenna Slemp Hayford and husband Kenneth, Somerset, Two brothers: Glen Gibson and wife Gwen, Cecil Gibson , Richmond, VA, 3 grandchildren Jarrod, Aaron, and Luke, one niece and seven nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 12 noon on Monday at Holding Funeral Home in Big Stone Gap, Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon on Monday in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will follow in Powell Valley Cemetery, Dryden, Va.
