Sara worked at the San Luis Central R.R. "the Peavine" and taught school at Wagon Wheel Gap. In the forties she was a sponsor of the Fortnightly Club and gave miny piano concerts.
Sara lived a long life, was a teacher, educated at the University of Colorado, member of the Pi Phi sorority and the first degreed woman from that University in Psycology. She taught at Colorado A&M, in Ft. Collins prior to accepting a position to teach at the "Gap"
She played a great piano and told wonderful stories, and now we tell them about her.
