Wilhelmina "Minna, "Mina", "Minnie" Kruse was born to Johann Heinrich "Henry" Kruse and Maria Franziska Digmann. She was their third child. She had two brothers William and Frank who had been born in Huethen, Germany before the family immigrated to the United States in 1851. Wilhelmina was confirmed March 31, 1867 in St. Mary's Catholic in Fredericksburg.
She married Oct 20, 1874 to Conrad Peter Baumann (1848 -1910)in St. Mary's Catholic Church. They had 5 children:Amalia "Molly" Baumann 1875 -1938; Franz Emil Baumann 1877 -1877 ; Rosa Baumann 1878 -1961 ; Felix Baumann 1881 -1881; Wilhelm Baumann 1881 -1881. Only two of their children lived Amalia and Rosa.
