Daughter of Johann Casper (Johannes) Diegmann 1785 – 1848 and Maria Katherina Wilhelm 1785 – 1850. Both born and raised and died in Heuthen, Eichsfeld, Thuringia, Germany.
She married 8 FEB 1847 Heuthen, Eichsfeld, Thuringia to Johann Heinrich "Henry" Kruse.
Henry, Marie, and sons Wilhelm and Frank Kruse immigrated from Germany and landed in Galveston, Texas on 17 April of 1851. They settled in the Palo Alto Settlement, near Fredericksburg, Gillespie Co, Texas and raised a large family. Henry died 21 JUN 1886 in Fredericksburg, Gillespie, TX
