VIRGINIA GUSTAFSON FRAME FORMERLY OF HOBART, IN
Virginia Gustafson Frame, age 92, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010, in Manassas, VA. Known to family and friends as "Tippy," she was born May 8, 1918, in Porter County, IN to Vern and Amanda Algrim Gustafson. In 1938 Tippy married Charles "Chuck" Frame, and raised their children, Pam and Jeff in Hobart, IN. After Chuck died December 20, 1976, Tippy moved to Florida and lived there many years. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Elwood Gustafson; sisters: Verna Gustafson Henry, Marian Gustafson Sanz, and Sally Gustafson Walck. Survivors include daughter, Pam Popovich of Nokesville, VA; son, Jeff (Barbara) Frame of Murray, KY; granddaughters: Manda Popovich Riggs of Hong Kong and Anne Popovich Perera of Bristow, VA; great grandchildren: Jack Riggs, Anne Carter Riggs, Julia Perera, Dylan Perera and Dashiell Perera; sisters: Charlotte Gustafson Adams and Maxine Gustafson Wittmer; sister-in-law, LaVerne Gustafson; plus numerous nieces and nephews. Tippy loved gardening, golfing, oil painting and the Florida sunshine, but most of all she loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who loved her. The family plans a memorial at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, IN, during the summer of 2011.
