Davis was born May 9, 1906, in Pittsburg, Tex. He moved here from Wellington, Tex. He was a member of the Church of God, Wellington, and the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Johnnie L. Davis of Carlsbad; his mother, Mrs. T.J. Davis, Dallas, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Florence Aldridge, Carlsbad; a brother, Archie Davis, Dallas, Tex.; and a sister, Mrs. Fayrene Rollett, Dallas, Tex.; one grandchild and five great-grandchildren.
