Graveside services will be held for Johnnie Davis, 89, 1905 W. Pierce St., at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Carlsbad Cemetery.

Ms. Davis died Saturday (Nov. 28, 1992) at Lakeview Christian Home-North Gate. She was born April 23, 1903, in Lamar County, Texas, and came to Carlsbad from Wellington, Texas, in 1953 to start the Davis Bakery.

She is survived by one granddaughter, Billie Coon of Carlsbad; one brother, W.W. Harrelson of Brownfield, Texas; four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

West Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
