Ann M. Lohman, 73, of Tucson, Ariz., (formerly of New Ulm), died Friday, September 29, 2000 at the Odyssey Hospice in Tucson.

Services are at 3 p.m. today at Dove of Peace Lutheran Church in Tucson, with burial in the church's columnburium. A memorial service will be held in New Ulm at a later date. Local arrangements are pending. Evergreen Mortuary in Tucson is in charge of arrangements.

She survived by her husband Robert; a sister Marian Roban of Tucson, AZ; sons, David and wife Pat Lohman of Forest City, Iowa; Gary and wife Diane Lohman, Jeffrey and wife Faye Lohman all of Indian Wells, CA; Guy and wife Jane Lohman of Webster, WI; Christopher and wife Tarri Lohman of Oregon, MO; Tod and wife Jean Lohman of New Ulm, MN; and daughter Marianne and husband Thomas Snowden of Charleston, Ill.; 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Harrison McKusick.

She was born Nov. 1, 1929 in Stillwater. She married Robert Lohman on Aug. 7, 1944. In 1960 they moved to New Ulm where they lived until Robert's retirement in 1984. After Robert's retirement they lived at a lake home in northern Minnesota in the spring and summer, and spent winters in Arizona. In 1993 they made Tucson their permanent home.

Ann was an award winning quilter and a quilting instructor. She was a member of Dove of Peace Lutheran Church in Tucson. Memorials are preferred to Odyssey Hospice, 1730 East River Road, Suite 107, Tucson, AZ 85718.
