Violet M. (Stroup) Turnbaugh, 94, of Camp Hill, died Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Country Meadows, Hampden Twp.
She retired as the co-owner/operator of Turnbaugh Printers supply, Mechanicsburg. She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, New Cumberland; Daughters of the American Revolution, Cumberland County Chapter, and its Cameo Society; Daughters of the American Colonists, Cymry Chapter; Huguenot Society of Central PA, Jean Ribault Chapter; Acoustic Nuroma Assn.; and Mechanicsburg Senior Center.
She was born September 10, 1916 in Millerstown to the late Carmen Chester and Nina McVey (Delancy) Stroup. She was the widow of M. Luther Turnbaugh. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ray Stroup; an infant granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Diener; and son-in-law Dr. Robert G. Diener.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy L. Diener of Morgantown, WV; a brother, Harry D. Stroup of Millerstown; sister, R. Patricia Bitting and her husband Mark of New Cumberland; granddaughter, Mary Diener and husband Nico Agostino of Olney, MD; a great-grandson, Ryan Agostino.
Visitation will be from 10am until Funeral Services at 11am Tuesday at Faith United Church of Christ, New Cumberland. Burial will follow at 2pm in Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.
