Amelia Vandeveer was the daughter of Aaron Speer and Sarah (Kennerly) Speer. She died after 1 June 1835 when she was identified by name as the widow of John Vandeveer, deceased, in a deed (Orange County, Indiana, Deed Book E, p. 323).
