Born March 25, 1922, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., he was the son of the late Marshel A. and Agnes F. Kriembine Weigand.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean R. Weigand, in 1987.
In 1984, after 40 years of service, he retired from Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown where he was a mechanic.
He was a member of Morris-Frock American Legion Post 42 of Hagerstown, Western Maryland Sportsman Club and AC Hunt Club of Clear Spring.
He is survived by a daughter, Shelia Jean Weaver of Hagerstown; a sister, Dorothy Gardner of Keedysville; and a granddaughter.
A private graveside service was held Friday, July 7, at Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown. The Rev. William Burgett will officiate.
