Dorothy Louise Gardner, 81, of 4033 Chestnut Grove Road, Keedysville, Maryland, died on Monday, May 29, 2006 at Reeder's Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Maryland. Born May 7, 1924 in Martinsburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Marshall Augustus and Agnes Crumbine Weigand. She was previously employed with Interwoven Mills.
She is survived by her husband, Monaford Leo Gardner; two sons, Douglas G. Gardner of Hagerstown, and Erle S. Gardner of Keedysville, Maryland; two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas Weigand.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Thursday at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Pastor James R. Hoffer will officiate. There will be no viewing. Arrangements by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Md.
