1900 Census: Michael Doyle (30) and his wife Joanna (28) were farming in Spring Creek, Moody, South Dakota. They had six children: Bessie (8), William M (6), Florence M (5), Bryan E (3), Celia E (2), and Charles R (8 months).

1910 Census: Michael Doyle (41) born in Wisconsin about 1870, and his wife Johanna (37) born in Minnesota about 1871, were living in Moody County, South Dakota. The census states they had twelve children with twelve living: Elizabeth "Bessie" (18), William (17), Florence (15), Bryan (13), Celia (12), Charles (10), Mabel (7), Hazel (6), Clement (4), Gertrude (2) and Leona (8 months). All of the children were born in South Dakota.
