Frank W. Standish, 71, died at his home in Johnsonburg at 12:25 A.M., July 2, 1959 after a long illness.
Mr. Standish was born in Johnsonburg on Dec 17, 1887, the son of the late Elmer and Harriett Hoy Standish. He married Elizabeth Redding in 1913. Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters and one son, Mrs. Ralph Jones, Mrs. Donald McKenzie, Mrs. Kenneth Parmeter and Bernard Standish, and thirteen grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Roy Durfee, three nephews and a niece. A son Frank Wesley died in 1946 and a son, Walter died in infancy.
Funeral services were held at the Redding funeral home in Attica on July 4th at 2:00 p.m., the Rev. Clark Gilmour officiating and the burial was in the Johnsonburg cemetery.
