Johnsonburg and neighborhood has been much moved by the sad death of Mrs. Fanny Andrews the young wife of Mr. Henry Andrews. She passed away on Monday, morning March 31st, at her home, after an illness of a few months, aged 24 years.
Mrs. Andrews was Miss Fanny Standish, the eldest child of Mr. and Mr. John Standish. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. I. R. Richards at the house, last Thursday afternoon. He took for his text, John 14ch. 19th verse. "Because I Live Ye Shall Live Also."
She was interred at Johnsonburg cemetery, about 300 people attended the funeral. Mrs. Wolcott, Mrs. C. Lewis and Miss Donna Wolcott took the musical portion of the service. [Published in the "Wyoming County Times" Warsaw, N.Y. April 8, 1908, Vol. 36. No. 15. Page 1]
