REMINGTON, Mar 18, Edward D. Bellows, 57, life long resident of this vicinity and prominent as a farmer and land owner, died at 11 o'clock last night at his home here. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Bellows and in 1906 married Ona Wilson. He was a member of the Presbyterian church and Knights of Pythias lodge and was active in community affairs.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Louise Stokes of Gary and Miss Charlotte Bellows who teaches at Schneider School, a son, Wilson, at home; and one sister, Mrs. C.L. Murphy of Rensselaer. Funeral services at the Presbyterian church Tuesday at 2:30, Rev. H.D. Trickey, burial in Remington cemetery.
