Having actually gone "Missing" on the above date, he was not officially declared by the military as being dead until January 19, 1946.

Rudolph served as a Sergeant on B-25D #41-30252, 405th Bomber Squadron, 38th Bomber Group, Medium, U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II.

He resided in Crisp County, Georgia prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on January 14, 1942 at Fort Benning, Georgia. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Salesperson and also as Single, without dependents.

Rudolph was declared "Missing In Action" over the Admiralty Islands during the war.

He was awarded the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.
