Mrs Vesta Borin, 77, buried at New Market
Mrs Vesta Borin, 77, of Midwest City, Okla, died Tuesday morning at a rest home there where she had made her home for five years.
A resident of Erick, Okla, she had moved to Midwest city to be near her daughter Mrs Delores Puthuff. She was born Jan 3, 1894 at New Market [Iowa], the daughter of Elihu and Josephine Brewer Cade. In 1922 the family moved to Oklahoma where her husband, Alva Jones was in the furniture and undertaking business, before dieing in 1935. Later she was married to Charles Borin of Erick, Okla, who preceded her in death.
Besides her daughter she is survived by a brother, Raymond Cade of Des Moines, and two sisters, Mrs Harry Harland of New Market, and Mrs Ward McCreary of Des Moines.
Funeral services were held this Thursday morning at the Walker Funeral Home with Loren Daly officiating. Music was by Mrs Shirley Larson and Doris Damewood. Casket bearers were Keith Luellen, Verlin Cade, Doyle Cooper, Leslie Roush, Russell Slack, and Merle Harland.
Burial was in the Memory cemetery at New Market.
