p.m., Mr. Soren Anderson died of old age. He was 88 years, 6 months and 1 day
old. The deceased was born in Norway Oct. 14, 1815. In 1843 he was united in
marriage to Miss Johannah Polsen. They came to America and settled in Wisconsin
in 1849. He came to Nebraska and settled in Washington Co. in 1870. A few years
ago he went to live with his son at whose home he died on April 15th. He was the
father of eleven children, of these, four sons survive him. He was the brother
of Mrs. Peter Johnson and Mrs. Watson Tyson of Blair and Mr. A. Anderson of Herman and Mrs. George Tyson of Wisconsin. The remains were broiught to Blair and the funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. B. Priest of the M. E. Church
at the home of Mrs. Peter Johnson on Monday, April 18th, at 9:30 a.m. The body was laid to rest in the Thone cemetery beside his wife and child.
