She was born March 28, 1945 in Indianapolis to the late Loren Russell and Margaret Taylor Edmundson. A lifelong resident of Indianapolis, Susan was a 1963 graduate of Arlington High School. She married John L. Hoskins, Jr., June 5, 1965 and was employed as a teacher's assistant for the Mt. Vernon School Corporation for 23 years, retiring in 2002. Susan was also a licensed beautician and a member of Outlook Christian Church.
Susan is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, John L. Hoskins, Jr.; sons, Larry P. (Jennifer) and John D. Hoskins; daughter, Lori A. Craig (Dan); grandchildren, Tylor, Hunter and Emma; sister, Carol A. McEwen (Terry).
