Mrs. Winifred A. Jackson, 86, of Maple Grove Ave., widow of John J. Jackson, died yesterday in Herkimer Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Jackson was born Aug. 23, 1883, in Utica and attended schools there. She moved to Ilion in 1916. She was married to Mr. Jackson many years ago. He died in 1930 and she moved to Herkimer in 1936.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Reformed Church and Myrtle Chapter, OES.
She leaves a son, Edwin J. Jackson of Florida; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Marjorie Buckingham, East Springfield and a brother-in-law, Clarence Hodge.
The funeral will be Wednesday and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in the spring.
