This memorial along with Winifred Jackson was transferred to me along with some other Jacksons who are my direct ancestors, but I don't have any information about these two individuals. If anyone can tell me how John Jackson is related to either Floyd Earl Jackson or William Foster Jackson, please let me know. 1920 census lists his mother as Maggie and his son as Edwin...Thank you.

Ilion, April 4 - John J. Jackson, 49, died at his home here yesterday following four months of illness. Deceased was born in Utica in 1880, coming here 30 years ago. For some years he was a foreman in the Arms plant and later in the typewriter. He was pastmaster of Ilion Lodge F. & A. M. and a 32nd degree Mason, as well as past patron and past direct deputy of the Order of the Amaranth. Surviving are the widow, one son, Edwin; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Jackson; two sister, Mrs. William Benton of Trenton, N. J., and Miss Charlotte Jackson of Brooklyn. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at the Masonic Temple, conducted by the Masonic Lodge, assisted by Rev. E. D. Barnes, pastor of the Presbyterian Church. Burial in Oak Hill cemetery, Herkimer.
