Jeffrey A. Bowers, 6, son of Mr, and Mrs. Ronald Bowers, Verona, died about 5:30 p.m. Monday in a Madison hospital two hours after he was struck by a car on Verona's main street (Highway 18-151). The youngster, whose father is an engineer with the State Highway Department, waited for one car to pass and then darted into the street. The death was accidental and no inquest will be held.
Surviving besides his parents and grandparents are two sisters.
Burial will be in the St. Andrews cemetery.
