Esther Elizabeth was probably her birth name but she went by Lizzie. She was most likely born in Fannin County, Georgia about 1870 and probably died at home in Oaks, Delaware County, Oklahoma.

She was the daughter of Thomas Clingman & Martha Elizabeth (Ballew) Mull.

Lizzie married Simon Dry (a full-blood Cherokee) at the age of 16 in the fall of 1886. He later died in 1898. She married Lewis "Louie" Stover (also a full-blood Cherokee) on Aug. 7, 1903.

Lizzie and Simon had the following children:

1. Mattie Jane, b. 1887 or 1888, d. 1976. She married Thomas "Tom" Dial on Apr. 26, 1904. Tom died in 1937. She later married Carl Leslie Ward on Jun. 1, 1940.

2. Barker Cleveland, b. 1889 or 1890, d. 1979. He was first married Bessie Williams. Then he later married Hazel Belle Ward on Oct. 1, 1940.

3. Agnes "Aggie", b, 1891, d. 1918. She married Richard "Dick" Coming on May 19, 1907.

4. John, b. 1893 or 1894, d. 1984. He married Susie Neugin on Feb. 14, 1916.

5. Walter Dry, b. Oct. 9, 1896 (or 1895), he probably died in 1918.

On the 1900 census, Lizzie was the mother of 9 children, 6 living.

Lizzie and Lewis had the following children:

1. Jennie, b. 1900, d. 1924. She married Charley McCoy Hardin on Sept. 18, 1916. They must have divorced by June of 1917. Then she married Joe Ashes on Mar. 21, 1922.

2. Bessie Ann, b. 1904, d. 1993. She married Wilson Blackfox on Jun. 3, 1924; they separated by 1930. She married Caleb Martin Bales on Feb. 25, 1933. He died in 1953. Then she married Grover Frailey on Aug. 9, 1957.

3. Thomas "Tommy", b. 1909, d. 1919.

4. Mamie, b. 1912, d. 1939. She married Lawrence Cantwell on Feb. 18, 1929.
