William Peacock was my great grandfather. He was born in Liverpool, England. He came to the United States in 1886 and became a citizen in 1891. There was a Naturalization Record filed in the District Court, Pottawattamie County, Iowa. Read and approved in open Court, this 23rd day of Oct, 1891. He married Alice O'Brien on August 14, 1888 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They had four sons. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. Their first son was my grandfather Cornelius.
