Rudolph Wilson "Teet" Henderson, 91, of Blacksburg, died Saturday, April 17, 2004 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was born in Montgomery County, VA on September 2, 1912 to the late Harry Giles and Etta Otey Henderson.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Fay Henderson, and two brothers, Dude Henderson and Paul Henderson.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, R.W. "Bob" Henderson, Paul Harrison and Brenda Henderson, all of Blacksburg; three sisters, Minnie Ellett, Woodie Daugherty, and Sis Gibson, all of Christiansburg; four grandchildren, John Henderson, Greg Henderson, Mark Henderson, Paula Kay Bryant, all of Blacksburg; four great-grandchildren, Colton Henderson, Christiansburg, Gage Bryant, Kierstin Bryant, and Makenzie Henderson, all of Blacksburg; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at 11 a.m. in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg, with Rev. Dr. Charles Taylor officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Blacksburg Rescue Squad, 200 Progress St., NE, Blacksburg, VA or to the Roanoke Valley Presbyterian Church, 2202 Catawba Road, Blacksburg, VA. Friends may call anytime after 12 noon Monday, and the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
