Gregory Sudbeck

Services for Gregory A. Sudbeck, 70, of Hartington were held Monday, November 10 at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Church, Rev. Cyril Werner officiated and burial was in the St. Michael's Cemetery. He died November 7, 1975 at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton.

He was born to Henry and Anna (Menke) Sudbeck on March 12, 1905 in Hartington. He was a farmer in the Hartington area. He married Laura Becker on June 20, 1933 in St. Helena and she died in January of 1975. He belonged to the Catholic Order of Forester's and the Holy Name Society.

Survivors include four sons, Donovan and Edmund of Hartington, Kenneth of Yankton, and Gilbert of Vermillion, S.D.; two daughters, Mrs. James (Geralda) Moriatry of Livermore, Calif., and Mrs. Rex (Dianna) Wheeler of So. Sioux City, Nebr.; two brothers, Otto of Hartington and Rev. Albert Sudbeck of St. Charles Parish in West Point; one sister, Mrs. Alphonse (Mable) Becker of Albany, Oregon and 12 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dean Sudbeck, Daniel Sudbeck, Robert Becker, Roland Becker, Marlin Burbach and Arthur Burbach. The Wintz Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
