Constantia, Sept. 28—Stricken ill in this village Friday afternoon, William H. Peck, 76, year-old Gayville farmer, died at his home at 8 o'clock Saturday morning.

Mr. Peck collapsed while unloading a load of wood and was taken to his home near here. Death was attributed to natural causes. Mr. Peck was born at Gayville, March 10, 1860, a son of the late Horace and Amanda Peck, and had resided in the town of Constantia all of his life . He had been a farmer 46 years.

Mr. Peck, a member of West Monroe Grange and Constantia Methodist Episcopal church, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie R. Peck; three sons, Fred H., Frank R. and Clinton U Peck, all of Constantia; two daughters, Mrs. Theo L. Ziems of West Monroe and Miss Marion E. Peck of Gayville; two grandsons, Everett Peck and Clinton Ziems; two sisters, Mrs. Nell Coey of Manchester, Conn., and Mrs. Homer Dunn of Constantia, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will take place at the home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Watson & Hilton, Central Square funeral directors, will bring the body to Constantia cemetery for burial.
