Constantia, Aug. 23 - Fred Peck, 47, died at his home on the Lake Road Saturday morning after several months illness following a strike. Mr. Peck was the son of the late William and Minnie Peck of Constantia. At the outbreak of the first World War he enlisted in the Army and served overseas. Returning to his home town following the close of the war he was appointed R. F. D. carrier, which post he filled until his illness.

He was married to Miss Iva Dunn of North Constantia, who survives him, besides a son Everett Peck; two sisters, Mrs. Theo Ziemes of West Monroe and Miss Marion Peck of Constantia; two brothers, Van and Frank Peck.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at the home.
