West Monroe - Services for Mrs. Theo L. Ziems, 84, of West Monroe, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Watson Funeral Home, Central Square. Burial will be in Constantia Rural Cemetery, Constantia.
She died Saturday at home. She was a native of Gayville and lived in West Monroe for 59 years. She had retired as a grade school teacher.
She taught in the Briar Hill, Gayville, Ostrum, Whighill, Dutcherville, West Monroe, Mud Settlement and Caughdenoy schools. She was a Gold Sheaf member of the West Monroe Grange and a member of the Onondaga Primrose Society. For many years she was trustee of the Central Square Library.
She is survived by a son, Clinton; a sister, Mrs. Marion Peck of Constantia; a niece and a nephew.
