She died Saturday at home. She was a native of Gayville and lived in West Monroe for 59 years. She had retired as a grade school teacher.
She taught in the Briar Hill, Gayville, Ostrum, Whighill, Dutcherville, West Monroe, Mud Settlement and Caughdenoy schools. She was a Gold Sheaf member of the West Monroe Grange and a member of the Onondaga Primrose Society. For many years she was trustee of the Central Square Library.
She is survived by a son, Clinton; a sister, Mrs. Marion Peck of Constantia; a niece and a nephew.
