Patricia Jane Brittain

Patricia Jane Brittain, 82, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Clairmont Nursing Home.

Ms. Brittain was born February 4, 1928 to George and Florence Trageser in Baltimore, Maryland. She had been a lifelong resident of Beaumont and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She had retired as Administrative Assistant at the Beaumont Art Museum. A few of the things Patricia had enjoyed included travel, art, golf, gardening and especially being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother,Ronald G. Trageser. She is survived by her two sons; Lee Brittain and wife Becky of Beaumont, Pat Brittain and wife Sharron of League City, TX; four grandchildren; Chris Brittain and wife Lisa, Ryan Brittain and wife Valerie, Justin Brittain, Emily Brittain and two great grandchildren; Camryn and Colby Brittain.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, May 17, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Garden of Gethsemane Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Clairmont Nursing Home for their caring service and friendship to our beloved mother during her stay.
