O. O. Gray died at his home near Grayson last Thursday at the age of 78 years. Mr. Gray was born and reared in Caldwell, and was one of the oldest citizens of the parish. He was born within three miles of where he died.
Mr. Gray leaves a wife, six children and a sister to mourn his departure. The children are Mrs. J. N. Humble of New Mexico; R. L. Gray of Albuquerque, N.M.; Mrs. I. I. Meredith of Monroe; J. B. Gray of Grayson; F. P. Gray of Ruston and G. O. Gray of Standard. The sister is a resident of south Louisiana.
Interment took place in the Welcome [Home] cemetery.
