MRS. KLETZIEN DIES TUESDAY
Came To Town of Schleswig 80 Years Ago
Mrs. Emelie Kletzien, age 86, died at the home of her son Rudolph Kletzien, 1010 South 19th street, Tuesday afternoon. Funeral services will be held from the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home at 1 p.m. Saturday. Burial will take place in St. Nazianz.
Mrs. Kletzien, nee Emelie Hensel, was born in Germany, June 2, 1847. She came to America and Wisconsin 80 years ago and settled in the town of Schleswig.
She married Abraham Kletzien 68 years ago. The deceased was a member of the Reform church.
The deceased is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles Perschek of Kiel; four sons, William of New Holstein, Otto and Herman of the town of Schleswig, and Rudolph of this city; a brother, Otto Hensel of Webster City, Iowa; 22 grand-children and 18 great grandchildren.
The remains may be viewed at the funeral home tonight and up to the time of the funeral .
