Otto Kletzien Passes Away
Last Rites for Schleswig farmer Held on Wednesday
Otto Kletzien, aged 65, passed away at his farm home in the town of Schleswig, six miles northeast of Kiel, on Saturday afternoon at four o'clock, after being ill a week. Mr. Kletzien had been in ill health for the past two years.
The deceased, the son of the late Abraham and Emilie Kletzien, was born on the Kletzien homestead in the town of Schleswig, April 12, 1869, and on February 11, 1900, was married to Miss Anna Heidemann, also of Schleswig. The couple located on their farm which Mr. Kletzien purchased 40 years ago. Three children were born to the couple, all of whom are living.
Survivors are his wife, two sons and one daughter, Norbert of Walnut, Ill., and Arwin Kletzien and Mrs. Norman Prange of Sheboygan, six grandchildren, Audrey June, Wayne and Robert Kletzien and Virginia, Norman Junior, and Diana Prange; three brothers, William of New Holstein, Herman on the homestead, and Rudolph of Manitowoc, and one sister, Mrs. Carl Perschke of Sheboygan
