The funeral of Carl Boettger was held Saturday, Rev I T Spencer conducted services at the house. Mr Boettger had lived in Moro the past 46 years. The business houses were closed in respect during the hour of the services.

Carl Boettger, Aged Moro
Resident, Dies
Carl Boettger, a resident of Moro for forty-six years, died Thursday afternoon at his home there, aged 74, after a year's illness.
Mr Boettger was for years a shoemaker at Moro and served the trade there. Later he took up carpentering. He was sick a year. Mr Boettger is survived by his wife and seven children, Mrs A J Francis and Mrs James Waterfall, of Alton; Mrs E F Hatcher of Springfield; William Boettger, of Bunker Hill; Alfred and Otto and Miss Louise Boettger, of Moro.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the family home and services will be conducted by Rev I T Spencer.
