George Coffman, 82 years old died last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs
Lucy A Ramsey 1403 West High st. Funeral arrangements had not been completed
today but burial will be in East Lawn cemetery under the direction of the
Paxson Undertaking co
Mr Cofman was a member of the 8th Iowa Infantry during the Civil was. He was
well known here. He is survived by the widow; 2 sons N W Coffman of Sioux City
IA and Frank Coffman of Nevada MO; and 5 daughters Mrs D B Carmichael, Kansas
City MO, Mrs Cora Ramey Urbana MO, Mrs Blanche Smith Dallas TX, Mrs Lucy A Ramey
Springfield , Mrs B H Langstone 331 Mxxx St Springfield.

home of his daughter, Mrs Lucy A Ramsey, 1403 West High St were held yesterday
afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Church of God, located on Campbell ave between
Center and Nichols st. Rev Ketchel officiating. Burial in National Cemetery
under the direction of the Paxson Undertaking Co.
