Charles F Coffman, 71 a resident of Springfield for the past 50 years, died at 4 o'clock this morning at his home, 1403 Sherman. Mr Coffman worked for many years as a machinist for the Frisco. For the past 15 years, he had been an employee of the T. Z. Railroad Equipment company and was branch manager at the time of his death. He suffered a heart attack in May.
Mr Coffman was a member of Gate of the Temple Lodge No 422 and of Modern Woodmen of America. Born in Dallas, he had been a resident of Springfield 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl, a daughter Helen of the home, a teacher at Robberson school and 4 sisters, Mrs Lucy Ramey of Strafford, Mrs Carrie Ramey of Phoenix Arizona, Mrs Georgia Langston of Kansas City and Mrs Blanch Smith of Canton TX
Funeral arrangements are under direction of Gorman-Scharpf

Funeral services for Charles Frank Coffman, 71 who died yesterday at his home, 1403 Sherman, will be at 2:30 Thursday afternoon in Gorman-Scharpf chapel with the Rev Earl Frenchofficiating. Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be J W Seabough, Francis Bishop, George A Scharpf, Ed hartley, W C Bordanske, J R Beshears
Gate of the Temple Lodge No 422 AF and AM will conduct Masonic services at the grave.
