E. Frank Johnson, a well known barber, died yesterday evening at 7:15 at his home, 114 East Eighth St. of a complication of diseases, 44 years old. He had been in failing health for a long time but was able to be about until several weeks ago when he became bedfast and gradually grew weaker. For the past 18 or 20 years he conducted a barber shop at 227 N Market St and was well-known. Besides his wife, formerly Miss Virgie M. Ulrich, he is survived by his mother, thee brothers, Harry, George, and Clarence Johnson and one sister Mrs.Charles L H O Fox. He was a member of the Lutheran Church, and of the Order of Red Men, Odd Fellows, Moose and Maccabees. The funeral will take place from his late home Sunday at 2 PM. Interment at Mt Olivet Cemetery. Funeral notice on Monday, 19 Jun 1922 stated that the funeral was conducted by Dr. U S G Rupp. Many beautiful floral tributes were presented.
