ADA - Services for Nona E. Gunn, 88, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hanson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
She died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born July 20, 1888, in Hardin County, she was a daughter of Othello and Anna Hodge Krisher. She married Frank B. Gunn on Sept. 24, 1905, and he survives.
Other survivors include nine daughters, Pauline Ellis of Lakeview, Mrs. Justin (Eva Mae) Fewell of Forest, Annabelle Hunt of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Gerald (Gladys) Hoy of Rt. 2, Mrs. Orville (Wanda) Mankey of here, Mrs. Donald (Betty) O'Bannon of Round Lake Beach, Ill., Mrs. James (Wilda) Leffler of Lima, Mrs. Darrell (Wava) Spradlin of McGuffey and Imogene Bice of here; four sons, Clyde of Lakeview, Raymond of Westminster, Colo., Garland of here and J. Robert of Newark; 67 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was a lifelong resident of Hardin County and attended the Ada Baptist Church.
Friends may call after 7 tonight at the funeral home. Rev. Willard Thomas will officiate at the services.
